What We Are
The Solamnic Knighthood is a role playing organization on Arctic MUD. We have formed an organization based on the knighthood portrayed in the Dragonlance Saga, written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. We do it mainly for fun and to add to our game playing experience. Some of the things we do are; hold meetings to decide on new policies, have a ceremony to promote a knight, and adventure in the lands of Krynn to slay evil. The path to becoming a knight is full of trials and pitfalls. We test every new squire thoroughly and try to push them to their limits. But once you are a knight, it is even harder. Honor is a heavy burden to bear, as is loyalty. The people of Krynn hate us and blame us for the Cataclysm. But there are some people out there that still need us and understand what we stand for. And for those wise souls, and for Paladine, we shall keep on striving to rid Krynn of all evil and to give freedom to all who want it.

THE CONTINENT OF ANSALON

Always willing to appease their fans, the heroes take a moment before battle to be interviewed.  Here we have (left to right) Tanis Half-Elven, Goldmoon of the Que-Shu tribe and Sturm Brightblade, Knight of the Crown. In a moment they will slay the red dragon you see behind them.

Here we see Sturm Brightblade leading the way up a mountain. This scene portrays when Sturm saw the vision of the white stag and led the companions to the Forestmaster. Behind Sturm you can see Flint Fireforge, another one of the Heroes of the Lance.

This is a drawing of the battle between Dragon Highlord Kitiara, riding the blue dragon Skie, and Sturm Brightblade. Sturm is standing alone on the battlements of the High Clerist's Tower, sacrificing himself to allow other knights to prepare a defense.

This scene portrays the death of Sturm Brightblade, Knight of the Crown, Hero of the Lance. He died at the hands of Kitiara, Dragon Highlord and her mount Skie. Standing over him is the Golden General, Lauralanthalasa.

This image is of Lord Gunthar Uth Wistan, Grand Master of the Knights of Solamnia during the war of the lance. The old man standing next to the dragon is Fizban, rumored by some to be Paldine himself in mortal form.

Lauralanthalasa, the Golden General is mounted upon a Silver Dragon. She is holding one of the legendary dragonlances used by the Knights of Solamnia to pierce the thick skin of the evil dragons, servants of Takhisis.

A very nice picture with Tanis Half-Elven in the forefront, behind him stands Tasslehoff Burfoot, Tika Waylan and the elf queen, Lauralanthalasa. Tanis is an honorary Knight of the Rose.

Here we have a knight of Solamnia paying homage to Paladine before battle.
