Lady Karina Shatten Jager, Knight of the Crown

Lady Karina Shatten Jager, is the last of the Shatten Jager society and line. Having traced her name all the way back to Crysania Laurentine, Grand Master Shatten Jager, who was alive 30 centuries before.
    Her mother expected a lot from her before she died. Her dad left her family when she was only 5. Him being a Jager too, but nothing has been heard from him for awhile. He is considered to be dead now. Originally from a different plane of existence, the Shatten Jagers had to flee their world at the last temovenic wars which was 29 centuries ago, but Crysania Laurentine and the legendary heroes were awoken from their cursed sleep. Only were they finally given eternal peace in the arms of death after the Temovenic war and opening a portal to a unknown world called Krynn. They landed in the lands of Solamnia. Before the heroes died they were found by a group of Solamnic Knights, led by Lord Oswal of Baxtry then the High Warrior, master of the Order of the Crown.
    During their stay in Lord Baxtry's land the Shatten Jagers tried to befriend most of the knights. But being users of magic they were despised. In the second Dragon War they fought in secret. Most of the races on Krynn thought they were renegade arch mages going against the laws of mages.
    Paladine having never seen these kind of people before, and thinking they were new creations of Takhisis because of the dark colors and the way they had foreign powers, struck them down too late to realize they were fighting for the side of good.
By then there was 100 people left from an original of over 3000.
    After the Dragon Wars, feeling betrayed, the Shatten Jagers moved to Istar, where centuries later they were banished by the kingpriest of Istar claiming them to be minions that would would bring down the human race of Ansalon. The Shatten Jagers slowly started disappearing, trickling down to smaller numbers. They were finally accepted as a people in solitude, missing their homelands.
    Karina moved from home right after her mother died, at the age of 17. Forgetting her past she travelled with a group of mercenaries from the city of Tarsis to the great city of Palanthas only with a wooden sword to defend herself. One of the first people she met in Palanthas was Sir Agravain de Galis Knight of the Rose. He helped her improve in her fighting skills and the arts of magic, and also saving her in times of need. He also started teaching her about the Knights of Solamnia, because she had such a fascination and many questions about them. Karina was always telling him one day she'll become a knight. Karina spent the next 3 years of her life travelling around Krynn grouping with people, making new friends. Learning techniques while improving her still needed skills.
    For unknown reasons she was always hunted down by a group of people who called themselves "shriners". She never had anything they really wanted. She finds herself some nights just walking out of the local inn and ambushed by them. Though many things have set her back through her years she strived to become a Knight of Solamnia, following their code and measure before becoming a knight. At the age of 21, Karina spent 3 weeks searching for Sir Kay as Sir Agravain said he was going on a long journey that he may never return from, and told her to seek out Sir Kay. Finally she found Sir Kay Pendragon, and he told her to go search for a man named Lord Justinian Silverguard, High Justice of the Solamnic Knighthood, to ask him the great priveledge of becoming his squire.
    Karina's quest for Squireship was to locate the solamnic chainmail and retrieve it from the evil forces guarding it. Her Knight of the Crown quest was to find and destroy the "Wings of Sorrow."
    Lady Karina Shatten Jager continues her many travels usually helping people in need in the lands of Krynn.
