Sir Portius Bloodbolt, Knight of the Crown

Born to a retired Dragonarmy officer and a reluctant elven maiden, Portius was an unexpected product of a forbidden relationship. While his parents fled the wrath of the Qualinesti, he was deemed a burden and sent to a monastery. At the monastery, Portius took a keen interest in the curative aspects of his education and expressed interest to continue his studies further.

Portius was sent to the temple of Mishakal in Kalaman, and being a relatively studious young man, he devoured the studies in vigorous fashion. But he was always a little restless and after a slight mishap which resulted in the death of an elder cleric, Portius was expelled from the temple prematurely.

He was able to travel the lands of Krynn, gaining experience and knowledge along the journey. During his travels, he became acquainted to a mage and as they ventured together, his inclination to evil grew. Repressing his father's evil devotion to the Dark Queen, Takhisis, Portius saw that Paladine was his only salvation.

During a small offensive against evil creatures in an attempt to cleansed his soul, Portius stumbled into a Knight of Solamnia, Sir Stonge Dragonsbane. Inquiring about the Knights and their cause, he was pleased with what he heard and from there, decided to devote his life to Paladine. Stonge agreed to sponsor Portius, and after a series of trials that resulted in many near death experiences, he was granted admission into the order, by High Justice Lord Justinian Silverguard and dubbed a Knight of the Crown.
