Sir Scathie Swiftsword, Knight of the Crown

Having grown up with a content childhood, Scathie was dissatisfied. He was at the ripe age of 17 when he learned that he had a long lost half brother known as Portius, with Portius's father and Scathie's father both being the same man. After Scathie's father had left an elf woman he remarried and they bore Scathie. Having found out that he had a half-brother, Scathie sought him out with vigor.

After many years he found him and revealed who he was. Portius was shocked yet delighted that he had a brother. Scathie wished that he could be exactly like Portius however his skill with weapons and fightig ability steered him in a different path. He took on the form of a Holy Fighter with certain Clerical powers that he had learned from Portius and his guildmaster. By this time Portius was a Knight of the Crown, and Scathie also wished to become a knight as well.

    After a time, Scathie knew that he was ready to take on the burden of becoming a knight. He met with a holy knight named Sir Beryv and expressed his desire to become a knight. Beryv, seeing the muscular frame and goodness within Scathie, questioned him and asked him to prove himself by retrieving an object of worth. Scathie accomplished this easily and after honing his skills and advancing further in the art of fighting he soon had a name for himself.

    He then petitoned to become a knight and seeking Sir Kay he was asked to cleanse an area of evil gnolls. After destroying them all in battle and killing their shaman he returned victorius and was soon entered into the fabled Knights of Solamnia.
